Tennis & Pickleball Instructors

Michael Parretta

Head Pro

Michael Parretta brings over 25 years of playing experience and more than 15 years of coaching to the courts at Lakewood Racquet & Sport Club. He began playing tennis at age five, but his true passion developed during his teenage years competing for Curtis Junior High and later through his collegiate career. Michael played at Green River Community College, contributing to NWACC Championship teams from 2005 to 2007, and went on to serve as assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s teams. He completed his collegiate tennis career at Pacific Lutheran University.

At Lakewood Racquet & Sport Club, Michael is dedicated to creating a fun, energetic, and inclusive environment for all members. He works with players of all ages and skill levels—from those picking up a racquet for the first time to competitive athletes looking to elevate their game. His approach combines skill development, encouragement, and a genuine passion for both tennis and pickleball. Michael’s goal is simple: to help every member enjoy their racquet sports journey while improving, connecting, and having fun on the court.
